dc.description.abstractThis study seeks to find out the improvement of students reading skill through LKS bahasa ingging for the second year students of SMA Imelda Medan. The objective of this study was to To find out if LKS "Bahasa Inggris" can improve students reading skill at the second year students in SMA Imelda Medan. The research design in Classroom Action Research (CAR), Wallancer (1998 : 16) States that classroom action research was different from more the conventional pratice. CAR is a combination of two methods, namely quantitative method and qualitative method. The Instrument of this study was reading test, questionnaire sheet, and Observation sheet. The subject of this study namely analyzing the quantitative data through reading test. In Pre-test the mean of score was 53,6, post test cycle I was 64,8 and post-test cycle II was 78,2 and analyzing the qualitative data through questionnaire sheet. Based on the questionnaire sheet that given before pre-test, it is showed the background of the students difficult in narrative reading and the last questionnaire sheet showd that most of the students understood about narrative text reading became improved through students worksheet (LKS) and observation sheetin the cycle I the students were not serious when learning process, but in the cyle II the students were serios, active and enjoyable the learning process.en_US
