dc.description.abstract | This study focuseson finding out the effect of task-based learning method on achievement in writing procedure. This study conducts in experimental design. The population of the research is the nine grades of students SMP Negeri 2 PercutSei Tuan. There are forty students of the nine grade junior high school students as the sample of the research the sample divided into two groups, namely control group and experimental group. The experimental group was taught by using task-Based Learning Method and control group was taught without using Task-Based Learning Method. The instrument for collecting data was writing test. The result of the studyanalysis showed that the t-observed value was higher than t-table (2.909>2.024) at the level significant 0.05 with a freedom degree of 38. It means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Based on findings of this study, it was found that there was a significant effect of task-based learning method on students’ achievement in writing procedure text. | en_US |
