dc.description.abstractThis study attempts to discuss about an error analysis of using determiners in writing recount text of tenth grade students at SMA Mardi Lestari Medan. the objective of this study to identify the types of the students’ error of determiners as found on writing recount text. The study used mixed method. The result of the study shows there are four types of error of determiners as found on the writing recount text namely Error of Addition, Error of Omission, Error of Misformation, and Error of Misordering. The dominant error is error of Misformation with 39 (60.9 %) errors, the second is error of Omission with 19 (29.7 %) errors, the third error of Addition with 5 (7.8 %) errors, and the last is error of Misordering with 1 (1.6 %) errors.en_US
