dc.description.abstract | This research is focused to discuss about students’ error analysis in using countable and uncountable noun in writing narrative text of the students SMA Negeri 2 Pangururan. The objective of this study to find out the types of error are made by the students in using countable and uncountable noun in writing narrative text and the most dominant type of error is found in using Countable and Uncountable Noun in Writing Narrative Text. The subject of the study was the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Pangururan. The study was designed by descriptive qualitative research. The result of the study showed there are three types of error and the most dominant error in using countable and uncountable noun in writing narrative text namely: error of omission, error of addition, error of misformation. The writer did not find any errors in error of misordering. The most dominant error is error of addition with 56 errors, in the second place is error of omission with 47 errors and the last place is error of misformation with 17 errors. This thesis is suggested for the students and also teachers of English Department as source of valuable knowledge and information of students’ error in using countable and uncountable noun. | en_US |
