dc.description.abstractThis study was intended to discover The Application of Teaching English as a Foreign Language in making Lesson Plan on Students’ English Department on Fifth Semester University of HKBP Nommensen Academic Year 2015/ 2016. The sample of this study was 43 students. In this study the writers analyzed the student’s task in making a lesson plan. From the nine groups of the student’s task in making a lesson plan for the time allocation only seventh group from nine group that followed or mentioned it in their lesson plan. And for the textbook, classroom management, learning administration and the last is learning assessment showed that all the groups of the student’s is mentioned it in their lesson plan. It can be concluded that Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) worked effectively in helping students in making a good lesson plan.en_US
