dc.description.abstractThis research focused on finding out the students’ errors ofcomposition recount text based on comparative taxonomy. This research is based on descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research was students of the tenth grade which consisted of 20 students. it is found that students error incomposition recount text based on comparative taxonomy, that is in four errors, they are development errors, interlingual errors, ambigious errors and other errors. The dominant error of composition recount text based on comparative taxonomy is interlingual errors. The error of composition recount text based on comparative taxonomy made by students are error of development errors was 5, interlingual errors was 29, anbigious errors was 23 and other errors was 5. The dominant types errors made by students in composition recount text based on comparative taxonomy with 29 errors and the percentage is 46,7 %. From the research suggested to the English teachers are able to know the types of taxonomy error and can explain he students clearly abou it and for students are able to minimize the errors, then, they can practice a comparative taxonomy well and correctly.en_US
