The feed ingredients given to pigs generally come from plant materials which are highly deficient in essential amino acids. Which causes impaired and delayed growth. This research aims to determine the effect of supplementation of the synthetic amino acid tryptophan in the diet on the Performace of grower phase pigs aged 12 - 18 weeks. This research was carried out from 14 August to 24 September 2024. This research was carried out for 42 days. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications with different tryptophan levels. Treatment P0 (0%); P1 (0.007%); P2 (0.012%); P3 (0.017%). The data obtained in this research was then analyzed for variance. Shows that the composition of different feed ingredients has no significant effect or (P>0.05) on Ration Consumption (KRH), Daily Body Weight Gain (PBBH), and Ration Conversion, however the addition of the amino acid tryptophan tends to improve the above parameters.en_US
