| dc.description.abstract | This thesis is study about Developing Instructional Media Application Weblog To Improve The Student Ability In Writing Of Descriptive Text Smp VIII HKBP SIDORAME MEDAN. Some common types of writing include descriptive writing, narrative writing, argumentative writing, expository writing, persuasive writing, technical writing, journalistic writing, creative writing. The objectives of this research is to know use the weblog application to improve students’ ability in writing descriptive text. This research was designed classroom action research. The data is collected giving test of 18 and 20 students’. The result showed that the application weblog can improve ability writing in descriptive text. Proven by the increasment of the score which was from the mean score in pre test cycle 1 mean = 51.00, post test cycle 1 mean =
